Life as a rover scout is characterized by the life of choices. Most are now in a three-year high school program and takes the student at the beginning of the rover scout age or the end of challenging age. A lot get odd jobs with uncertain prospects, others begin to study elsewhere and most of them move out of their parents home.

Life Choices and the inevitable break with friends and family can be difficult for many to handle. Work on projects with other rover scouts, where scouts actually designing and implementing their activities, fits 19-25 age group perfectly. This gives them the opportunity to use their creativity while the group's security is at hand.

For many rover scouts, it is useful to keep in touch with his old scouting friends.
